FORWARD: Acting & Producing - A Bit Of A Shift

In this forward, I am going to say that it looks like the career path I wanted in Acting, and Producing Movies has changed at least for the time being, and although I am still got a couple of cameos / appearances left in movies where I'll most likely be a Dead, or Missing Person, I'm not into doing any production related stuff at the moment. 

I still have my phone, 4K Handycam, and a greenscreen, so remotes can be done, if requested. If Anyone out there wants Me to try CAMEO, please let me know.

I do say the time spent on various movie sets, and doing still shots for films was fun, while it lasted, and extremely educational. I did learn improvisation, from working with Seasoned Actors. I learned some Practical Effects from both Trial & Error, and getting advice from Professionals in the field. I am trying to teach Myself both Blender & DaVinci Resolve, by Blackmagic Design, and Website Design by a program on WHC.ca's website. Verticals - The Next Big Little Thing

Take one part inspiration, two parts adrenaline, mix it with the smallest budget, and film it on a phone, edit it on either the phone, or a laptop, and You have created the impossible: a highly addictive form of content meant for today's crowd called a Vertical. 

Resembling a mix of YouTube Storyline with the fast pace of a TikTok, or Instagram video, these quick films, with budgets ranging from 50 dollars to several thousand, that setup a series of must-see sequels are rapidly becoming the latest trend in filmmaking. They even now have major investors, and awards shows appearing to gobble them up just as fast as they can be produced.

These films are a Very Big deal over in Europe now, and are soon to be one of the newest major driving forces over here in North America where traditionally films had to have gigantic budgets, and equipment.

I wish these Creators of a New Format in Entertainment the best as they compete with the 'Big Boys' of both Indie & Hollywood Films.

Conventions - What's Coming Up

It is time once again for SHOCK STOCK!

It is Ontario, Canada's Annual Showcase of Indie Films, Vendors, and Celebrities from the Horror, and Sci-Fi Horror Genre.

This Year's Events are from Wednesday April 29th to Sunday May 3rd.

It is held each year in London, Ontario, Canada. 

It is managed by GRIMMBROTHERS Entertainment, and since 2011 has been delivering a great opportunity for those both new, and seasoned in the film industry, and their fans to interact, while learning what it's like to 'get Your feet wet' in film making by attending Indie Films Bumpers, Shorts, and Feature Length Films, followed by panels, where You get to interact with Indie Film Creators, and Celebrities alike. There are even interactive prop displays, and spooky merchandise, and after hours music to enjoy.

There is another Convention held later in the year by GRIMMBROTHERS Entertainment called London Comic Con. It is held in London, Ontario, Canada, and is during September from the Saturday the 26th to Sunday the 27th.

It features Celebrities from Film, and Television, along with a mix of Voice Talent, Cosplayers, Drag Performance, and Comic Book Artists. Keep an eye out for new additions to their Roster of Awesome Guests!
